Indications:

How to use:

8-year-old children 1 capsule 3 times a day or according to the doctor's opinion.

Adults 3 times a day, 1 to 2 capsules according to age or according to the doctor's opinion.

Due to the type of enteric formulation, this product should be consumed 30 to 60 minutes before meals and on an empty stomach.

Pharmacological and clinical effect:

Peppermint extract relaxes the intestinal muscles directly. This substance improves peristaltic movements and food digestion in people with IBS by affecting the calcium and potassium channels of the smooth muscles of the digestive tract and bile ducts. But due to the nature of this substance that causes reflux, the use of enteric coat capsules can be a suitable solution to prevent this complication; Because with this method, it is possible to benefit from its effect in the intestine and to relieve abdominal pain and relieve the symptoms of the disease, this compound can be directly delivered to the intestinal muscles of people suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

Peppermint oil reduces flatulence and abdominal pain by facilitating the elimination of intestinal gases.

Side Effects:

This product is safe when used orally at the recommended dose and no cases of poisoning have been reported.

Peppermint oil can cause heartburn, nausea and vomiting, anal or perianal burning, and rarely allergic reactions and hypersensitivity (due to menthol) including erythematosus skin reactions, flushing, headache, bradycardia (decreased heart rate), muscle tremor and inconsistency in muscle movement (Ataxia).

Because of enteric capsules, less heartburn happens.

Interaction:

Antacids, H2 blockers, and proton pump inhibitors: Since they raise gastric pH, they can cause enteric capsules to dissolve sooner so separate administration times by at least 2 hours.

Precaution and Warning

If you have hiatus hernia (a condition in which a part of stomach slips upward through the diaphragm into the chest) consult a physician before the consumption of this product.

Contraindication:

History of hypersensitivity to peppermint oil or menthol, history of allergy to peanut oil or soybean oil (due to the use of arachis oil in the formulation components) Achlorhydria, occlusion of the biliary ducts, bile ducts inflammation (cholangities), gallstones or any other biliary disorder and severe liver damage.

Precaution and Warning:

There is insufficient reliable information about the safety of taking this product during pregnancy and lactation, therefore, it should be avoided.
